Begin your child’s journey at Lord’s School. Complete our application form and our admissions team will contact you to arrange a meeting with the Headteacher and a tour of the school.
What’s included in an application to Lord’s School? Our application form gathers essential information about your child, including their educational needs, health and development. Once submitted, you will usually be invited to meet the Headteacher and enjoy a guided tour of the school.

Meet the Headteacher
Parents, guardians and their child will usually be invited to meet the Headteacher, allowing us to learn more about the prospective pupil.

Tour the School
You will have the opportunity to explore Lord’s School, meet members of staff and learn more about our curriculum, facilities and supportive learning environment.

Offer of a Place
Following the meeting and review, we will confirm whether a place can be offered. Once accepted, registration can be completed and preparations made for your child to join us.
General Admission Requirements
– Applications are welcomed from pupils joining at different stages between Years 6 and 11.
– Parents or guardians must provide accurate information about their child’s educational background, health, development, allergies and learning needs.
– Prospective pupils and their parents or guardians will usually be invited to meet the Headteacher and tour the school.
– A place will be offered where the school is satisfied that the pupil can access the curriculum and their individual needs can be appropriately supported.
Special Educational Needs
– Pupils with SEND are warmly welcomed where their needs are suited to the curriculum and appropriate support is available.
– Applications involving an EHCP are considered through a separate process involving families, the school, the Local Authority and relevant professionals.
– Parents and guardians should disclose any known or suspected disabilities, learning difficulties or additional needs before admission.
– Where appropriate, an early admissions meeting will be arranged to discuss the pupil’s needs and any reasonable adjustments required.
